Microgrant Program to Support Subjects of the Agri-Food Sector

The Shchedryk Charitable Organization, in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), is announcing a call for applications. Applications will be accepted for two weeks from the date of this announcement.

The program covers individuals, sole proprietors, farms, and other micro- and small agricultural enterprises engaged in crop production, livestock farming, and/or processing for the purpose of subsequent product sales.

Areas of activity:

  • livestock farming
  • beekeeping
  • field crops up to 20 hectares
  • fruit and berry production
  • seedling production
  • fish farming
  • agricultural product processing
  • crop production and greenhouse cultivation

The decisive factor is the location where economic activities are actually carried out.

The amount of support is approximately 1,500, 3,000, or 5,000 U.S. dollars in hryvnia equivalent. The level of support is determined by a joint commission of the UN World Food Programme and “Shchedryk” based on the results of the application review and a site visit.

To apply, you must provide: experience in selling your own products, data on production volumes, income and expenses, and a plan for the use of funds.

Please fill out the form carefully and in detail. The completeness of your description of needs will be taken into account during the evaluation and will influence your further participation in the program.

All submitted applications are reviewed, in particular, to verify whether similar assistance has been received from other organizations. This may affect the amount of support or the decision on the application.

Participation in the program is free at all stages. No one has the right to demand payment for reviewing an application. The number of recipients is limited, and selection is made on a competitive basis.
