The charitable foundation “Shchedryk” and the Mykolaiv Regional Employment Center have signed a memorandum of cooperation for business development and professional training within a project supported by OXFAM.
The project, spanning over six months, aims to combine efforts in providing grants and opportunities for retraining in various professions.
The initiative, set to launch at the beginning of the new year, is expected to bring maximum benefits to the local population, facilitating the acquisition of new skills and support for business ventures. The project, with a budget sufficient for its duration, emphasizes collaboration between the employment center and the charitable foundation to distribute grants, education, and employment opportunities.
The focus is on requalification for various professions and the establishment of businesses, aiming to unite geographical areas and assist a greater number of people. The project intends to allocate approximately 130,000 euros to support the initiation of businesses and retraining, encompassing individuals eligible for state programs and those who lack such opportunities.
