On July 23, a representative of the “Shchedryk” Charity Fund participated in an extended meeting of the Coordination Center under the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration (OVA), which is preparing for the heating season.
On July 23, a meeting of the Coordination Center for Civilian Support took place at the employment center. It was attended by our fund’s co-founder, Oleksandr Mosin, representatives of government authorities, local self-government, humanitarian organizations, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk.
During the meeting, issues of preparing for the heating season for vulnerable population categories were discussed.
📍 Specifically, the following were addressed:
🔹 Possible provision of firewood to people;
🔹 Preparation of heating points;
🔹 Potential provision of emergency assistance in the event of power outages or other critical situations.
Oleksandr Mosin, one of the co-founders of the charity fund, noted:
🗣️ “If the winter period is severe, we will be able to quickly deploy a network of emergency assistance for those in need. Since 2022, we have gained extensive experience in this area. Therefore, in case of a difficult situation, our fund will be able to respond actively.”
An important topic of the meeting was also the coordination between all participants in the aid process.
✍️ Iryna Vereshchuk emphasized: “It is very important that all of us – government representatives, local self-government, and humanitarian organizations – work together to help those in need as quickly and effectively as possible.”
As a result of the Coordination Center meeting, a number of decisions were made aimed at providing vulnerable population categories in the Mykolaiv region with heat and necessary assistance during the heating season.
