Mykolaiv, May 7, 2024 – 36 ambitious entrepreneurs from Mykolaiv are receiving grants for the development of their businesses thanks to the successful collaboration between the Charitable Foundation “Shchedryk” and the international humanitarian organization Oxfam.
Grant recipients were selected after completing a training program organized by Shchedryk and Oxfam in 2024.

The training
involved 60 participants, of which 36 demonstrated the most promising business ideas and are already preparing documents to receive grants.
Among the winners:
• 22 women
• 14 men

“We received about 400 applications for the grant program, from which we selected 60 participants according to the criteria who underwent training in business planning and prepared business plans,” – says the executive director of the Charitable Foundation “Shchedryk” Vitaliy Kuznetsov.

In addition to representatives of the Shchedryk Foundation and Oxfam, the commission included a representative of the Mykolaiv Regional Employment Center as part of cooperation aimed at creating new jobs and boosting the economy in the Mykolaiv region.
Selection of winners: The Commission carefully selected 36 winners. 20 of them will receive grants of 2300 euros each, and 16 will receive grants of 4500 euros each.

Have a positive impact on the local economy.
