Support for vulnerable communities in the Kherson region: the ‘Shchedryk’ Charitable Organisation, in partnership with the ABA Consortium, has launched a project

Kherson region continues to suffer from hostilities, which is why we are focusing our efforts on supporting the most vulnerable sections of the population.

Registration has begun as part of the project ‘Comprehensive Humanitarian Support for Vulnerable Groups and Households Affected by the Conflict in the Kherson District’, in partnership with the ABA Consortium.

Registration takes place directly in the homes of aid recipients. In the village of Stepanivka, specialists from the ‘Shchedryk’ Charitable Organisation have already visited and registered the first residents of the community.

As part of the initiative, we are providing kits containing specialised and general hygiene products, as well as financial assistance.

Які види допомоги можна отримати?

Assistance is provided to:

  • People with Group I–II disabilities;
  • People with reduced mobility (who require specialised care and hygiene products);
  • People with severe chronic illnesses (who require specialised care and hygiene products).

In which communities is the project being implemented?

  • Kherson city
  • Stepanivka village

Етапи

The aid is being provided by the charitable organisation ‘Shchedryk’ in collaboration with Acted as part of the ABA Consortium, with the support of the Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine. The ABA Consortium is a partnership between the international humanitarian organisations Acted and Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP), led by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC).
