These days, our team at the Shchedryk Foundation met a special shipment from Germany, which became a symbol of unbreakable international solidarity.
What did they bring?
wheelchairs and crutches;
generators and fire extinguishers;
clothing, hygiene products and bicycles;
a large batch of animal feed.
The Shchedryk NGO team sent all of this assortment to the city’s territorial social service centers and volunteer organizations that care for animals.
This visit was truly special, as the representative of the charity organization Ukrainehilfewestfalen_ev, Mr. Mustafa, not only accompanied the aid, but personally helped unload each box.
Both sincere friends from Germany and Mykolaiv residents abroad participated in the collection and logistics. The co-organizer of the collection, Yulia Demʼyanova, made a touching comment on the shipment:
“Every box is care, every kilometer is faith in people and in the victory of good. Let this help become warmth for those who need it most now. We are there. We are together. We do not stop,” Yulia shared on her social networks.
Relay for Good: Raising a New Generation
For our team, volunteering is not just a job, but a way of life. One of the members of the Shchedryk NGO, who has been dedicating himself to helping the city for many years, came to unload the trucks this time with his children:
“This is not the first truck I have seen, and I am very glad that our city is being helped so actively. Today I brought the children with me. It is important to instill in them an understanding of how important it is to lend a helping hand to others from an early age. I am very glad that they enjoyed helping us and our colleagues.”
