Target audience: Owners, managers, and accountants of farms in the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions
☑️Training objective: To help agricultural producers prepare for attracting financing and effective interaction with banks, to better understand the available financial instruments and the conditions for obtaining them.
After this training, a more intensive course on financial planning will be conducted by Agrohub.
📚😎YOU WILL LEARN:
🔹Why access to finance is critically important right now;
🔹What financing opportunities are available to small farmers, in particular through agricultural receipts and agricultural notes;
🔹How the Agricultural Credit Guarantee Fund (ACGF) works;
🔹What ESG (environmental, social, governance) principles are and why banks take them into account when making financing decisions; How to fill out an environmental and social risk assessment questionnaire.
👩🏻🏫This event will be conducted by specialists and experts in agricultural finance, with the support of the International Finance Corporation (IFC, a member of the World Bank Group) and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).

✅Better understanding among farmers of available financial instruments and requirements for obtaining financing.
✅Increased readiness to cooperate with banks and other lenders.
✅Increased awareness of ESG principles and skills in working with questionnaires for assessing environmental and social risks.
