The Charitable organization «Charitable Foundation SHCHEDRYK» in partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP), is launching an important initiative called «Help for Frontline Households».
The aim of the project is to support residents of five communities in Mykolaiv Oblast affected by the war: Bashtanska, Horokhivska, Shyrokivska, Snihurivska and Bereznehuvatska. Thanks to the joint efforts of the two organisations, residents of these communities who meet the selection criteria will be able to receive one of three types of vital assistance, namely
A set for home gardening (a 3×10 greenhouse or a motorbike or drip irrigation set, etc;)
Cash assistance for other types of agricultural production (e.g. livestock, beekeeping, food processing, etc.);
Retraining + scholarship while the training is ongoing.
In addition to financial support, each programme participant will receive specialised training from experts.
In order to identify the needs of the residents as accurately as possible and ensure the effectiveness of the project, the Shchedryk Foundation team conducted an in-depth study of the situation in eight settlements of the Bashtanska, Horokhivska and Shyrokivska communities. During the meetings with the heads and local residents, information was collected about the urgent needs and priority areas of support.
Therefore, in the near future, we will publish detailed criteria for participation in the programme and a QR code for self-registration of residents of Bashtanska, Horokhivska and Shyrokivska communities on our social media channels.
Follow the updates so as not to miss important information!
