The Shchedryk Charitable Foundation has taken a decisive step in its development by holding a two-day strategic intensive. The team was able to immerse themselves in the process of rethinking their values, creating an ambitious vision and developing clear strategic plans for the future.
“This training is not just about learning, it is an opportunity to see our strengths and hear each team member, because it is together that we form a common vision that will help us reach new heights,’ said Serhiy Kolesnyk, President of the Shchedryk Charitable Foundation.

The intensive helped Shchedryk’s team to synchronise its vision and goals, providing a common understanding of processes and tasks.
The participants gained a clear understanding of the specific steps required to implement the ideas they had developed. It was especially valuable that strategic decisions were made collectively, with the participation of not only the founders but also all key employees of the foundation.
“We conducted an in-depth analysis of successful cases of our organisation and others, compared systems and models to increase efficiency, outline further steps and develop a model of work for new areas”, said Serhiy Kolesnyk.

The training was made possible by Hanna Hryhorysh, a renowned expert in business modelling and performance management from the Ernst & Young Academy of Business in Ukraine, who helped with forecasting potential risks, opportunities and plans for the next two years, as well as developing a strategic model and methodology for the organisation. Shchedryk’s team identified specific goals and chose a single vector of movement.
“This training helped us not only to anticipate but also to calculate the benefits and risks of our plans, to develop a strategic model and a methodology, setting clear goals and choosing a common approach”, concluded Shchedryk’s experts.

The intensive became an important milestone in the development of the Shchedryk Foundation thanks to the strong support of our partners from the Oxfam International Non-Governmental Organisation, demonstrating the foundation’s commitment to continuous improvement and effective work for the benefit of society.
